Lighthouses in Gloucester

From Cape Elizabeth to Gloucester, MA was an easy, uneventful day of cruising in a straight line for eight hours. We watched for whales as we got closer to Cape Ann, MA, an area where you have a slight chance of seeing them, but all we saw were more lobster pots. We're anchored in Gloucester Harbor, nicely protected from the wind. The lighthouse on Eastern Point, Gloucester is outstanding from any angle but I particularly like the position of the big lighthouse on the point in the background and the little lighthouse at the end of the breakwater at the harbor in the foreground.
