Blogging in Maine

We stayed in Gloucester for another day yesterday and spent several hours walking around Rocky Point and meeting and talking with artists in their galleries, which are also their homes, and a having a great lunch at a local restaurant that had recently opened for the season. In the evening we went back to the North Shore Art association for their opening celebration and helped them enjoy their very nicely catered food and wine. We left this morning and cruised Northeast for about 8 hours to anchor in a beautiful spot between Richmond Island and Cape Elizabeth, ME, about 10 miles below Portland. The day was uniformly overcast and a steady 52 degrees - but no rain and fairly calm seas.
