After another trip to Providence to sort out the results of our buyer backing out and with the house back on the market with several interested lookers, we decided the best thing we could do was go on a cruise and let the forces of real estate prevail. We left Rockland on a beautiful Saturday morning and proceeded on a direct course Northeast to anchor off Holbrook Island State Park just South of Castine. After hiking around the beautiful island trails (and providing ourselves as food for many tiny mosquitoes) we had a relaxing meal on Brilliant watching the sunset in the West and the largest full moon of the year rise in the East.
