Out of Maine

We have not quite started to meander. Our short term goal is to arrive in Rhode Island for part of the weekend to visit with children and grandchildren, making today and tomorrow again be 8 to 9 hour cruises. As we made our way further South today there were fewer and fewer lobster pots to avoid allowing use of our autopilot on a straight course from Cape Elizabeth to Cape Ann, Massachusetts where we anchored in Gloucester Harbor. The rain forecast for this afternoon never materialized and will probably only occur overnight, which should serve to clean Brilliant's salty coating after two days of waves over the bow. Pictured is Brilliant's new calling card which arrived just before sailing.
