Fair Winds and Following Seas

After two days of charging into the winds and waves we had a full day of surfing along with a 10-15 knot tailwind on a cool, clear fall day. Once we entered the Cape Cod Canal the wind died, the waters calmed and it felt as if we had reentered summer. We anchored an hour before sunset in the harbor in South Dartmouth, MA next to a mooring field still full of boats, unlike the very empty mooring field we had left in Camden. Tomorrow morning we'll travel about 30 miles to Jamestown, RI and spend some time with our Providence family.
