After Hildy gave Lindsay (ex-Navy fighter pilot and ardent fisherman) a thorough checkout on how to handle docking lines on Brilliant, we left Hildy and Yolanda and made our way down the winding marshland of the Waccamaw River section of the ICW. We arrived at the Georgetown Landing Marina in time for drinks with a group of Lindsay’s friends where I was tolerated fairly well as the token Yankee as we discussed the affairs of the world. A good time was had by all.
