Into the North

The weather forecast was accurate - two days of rain and wind – so we stayed in Delaware City until this morning and, although today was still overcast, had fair winds and following seas as we traveled down the Delaware Bay to Cape May, NJ. We arrived in time to walk the mile into town along a street full of Victorian houses and many flowering gardens. Tomorrow we will cruise up the New Jersey coast to Atlantic City. Our trip today took us past the Salem, NJ nuclear power plant (pictured) just as Hildy was emailing our friends in Belarus on this 31st anniversary of the Chernobyl accident.
