Our trip back to Camden yesterday from the Sheepscot was through familiar Maine pine and granite covered island scenes. We arrived in Camden Harbor at 2 pm and spent some time at Wayfarer Marine’s dock offloading food, clothes and seven months of collected stuff before taking Brilliant out to our mooring in the outer harbor. Our friends Dave and Kate happened to be at the Waterfront restaurant on the harbor as we came in and took this picture of Brilliant returning home. Note the lack of boats on the other moorings. The trip to Charleston covered 2500 nautical miles and was well worth it but it was great to wake up in our bed at home this morning. The azaleas are blooming in our front yard – just as they were in Charleston three months ago – spring all over again.
