Easter activities

Happy Easter! We began our day with coffee (Ralph), tea (me), bunny shaped pancakes, and bacon. Then we headed to the office area for our showers.
When we came out, this is what we saw at the dinghy docks! (Thanks for the photo, Ellen.) This manatee seems to like the area, because it frequently shows up. It was grazing on the vegetation growing on the docks and looking at the people as much as we were looking at it. A passing cruiser said it also hopes someone will turn on the fresh water faucet for it. This manatee was so tame you could walk right up to it and it would look up at you hopefully. It even rolled over like a dog. People took photos and were very careful around it when going by in their dinghies. Here it is next to our friend's dinghy so you can get an idea of size.
After that we headed out to Burdines with our friend Bob for Easter lunch - burgers and fries (I had fish fingers). We had a nice meal in the cool breeze with great conversation and laughs.
We got back to the boat and spent the remainder of the afternoon just lazing around, reading, looking at Bahamas charts, and having cocktails in the cockpit at sunset. It was a beautiful sunset and we enjoyed the nightly conch concert as the sun went down.
