We left Dragon Point knowing there would be a restricted bridge in our future. We tried to leave early but somehow that didn't happen. We left at 10 and hoped our speed would have us at the bridge before its mandatory closing at 3:30. We put a sail out and motorsailed most of the way but still missed the opening by about 10 minutes. So we pulled off to the side of the ICW, anchored, had a late lunch and read for a while. Our anchorage would have been a great viewpoint for a shuttle launch! Once the restricted time was up we headed through to our planned anchorage just past Max Brewer bridge in Titusville. We still had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the evening. Another 36 miles clicked off! Our next stop is Daytona Beach.
