Plan A, B, C?

Big Galliot
Plan A was go to Blackpoint for fresh baked bread from Lorraine's mom. Plan A actually worked. It's only 2 hours to Blackpoint, waters were smooth and clear (even in 20 feet!). We had lunch at Lorraine's café and ordered our bread for the next day. Tuesday morning we picked up our yummy coconut bread (and a loaf of regular bread), pulled up the anchor, and headed for Big Galliot (our jumping off point for George Town). Again, we had light and variable winds and smooth water and arrived in about 3 hours. We anchored for the night on the west side of Big Galliot Cay (a little surge, but not too bad). Early Wednesday morning we headed out the cut, which was a little scary because the tide had started to go out, which meant there were some standing waves, but not too bad (I was driving). We turned south, but after an hour and a half had only gone about 5 nm due to wind and waves on the nose (again!). At that rate we would have arrived in George Town after dark, which was not an option. We talked, and plan B was put into effect. We turned around and headed back for Dotham Cut and Big Major. Although rolly, the trip back was much faster and we arrived to anchor in our favorite spot that afternoon. We are going to hang out here a few days and discuss plan C.
