After a day and night of rain and high winds, it finally calmed down today. When it stopped raining (at about 11 this morning) we upped anchor and headed west for Alabama. After an easy 20 miles of motoring on the GIWW, we stopped for fuel at Homeport Marina and took a slip for the night. We will have dinner at the restaurant here, Lulu's, which is owned by Jimmy Buffett's sister. We plan to do a little provisioning in the morning and then head to Dauphin Island, about 30 miles from here.
