Caney Creek swing bridge

Today we left Freeport and shortly thereafter transited the Brazos River. From there we followed the ICW with mostly straight stretches and were able to motor sail part of the way. Although the boat is slower than usual due to the barnacles on the hull, we still managed 46 miles in 9 1/2 hours. Along the way we also went through the Caney Creek swing bridge. We arrived at Matagorda just ahead of the fog. Tonight we're staying at Matagorda Harbor marina, which has nice floating docks.
