Bouncing Around the Miami Area
29 February 2016 | Miami area, Florida
Beverly/cool to warm, depending on the day and mostly sunny
This is a shot of an international regatta that was held while we were at Dinner Key.
For the rest of January and all of February we wandered around from Dinner Key to No Name Harbor to South Beach, depending on weather and our mood at the time. We discovered that the mooring field at Dinner Key is very uncomfortable in south winds (also SE and SW) but it's great in north and west winds. We also anchored a couple of nights on the west side of Key Biscayne, in the lee of the island. It's really great to have all these options in such a small area, all of which have pretty water and nice views.
