Well, we are still here. We have decided to stay for hurricane season. In fact, we have already had weather from 2 tropical storms, Bonnie (on May 28th) and Colin (on June 7-8). This marina is up a river, inland, and very sheltered from wind and waves, which is why it's known as a "hurricane hole" (protected area). So far, so good! We are enjoying meeting people at happy hour, exploring the area again, and eating at our favorite restaurants.
