Dockmaster Ralph and weekend dockmaster Kris.

Wow! It's been a busy 2 weeks so far this month. Our friend Kris became the weekend dockmaster after the previous person quit. Right after that we were hit with Hurricane Hermine (which was downgraded to a tropical storm when it hit here). Because it came from the south after crossing Florida we had 5 ft. waves hitting dock 1 and it was pretty rough even where we were. We endured a day of strong winds and rain with no damage to our boat (or us). A week later the dockmaster quit and Ralph took the job. So we will be here in Brunswick for the foreseeable future. Then the last 2 days we had wind and rain from tropical storm Julia. Even with the bad weather, Ralph loves his job. (We don't love that alarm waking us up every morning, but we're adjusting.)
