Beverly/cooler and mostly sunny
Thanksgiving dinner at the clubhouse
Thank goodness November has been pretty uneventful. Ralph has been working extra hours during "transient season," with boats leaving the marina to head south for winter and boats passing through from north to south on their annual cruiser migration. Beverly has been cat-sitting for our friend Kris, who is on her way to the BVIs, crewing on a catamaran that left here on the 26th. She also walks for exercise several days each week.
The marina organized a wonderful (although crowded) Thanksgiving feast with turkey and lots of side dishes and desserts. We ate too much! Still, this week Ralph grilled our own turkey (given by the marina). So now we have plenty of turkey for sandwiches (his favorite).
