Beverly/Cool and clear
Our little foil Christmas tree
This month began with wandering around downtown during First Friday. The shops stay open late and many of them serve snacks and wine. It's always fun to see what's going on in our little downtown historic area. Then on Saturday the 2nd Beverly and 3 friends went to the Christmas tour of homes in the historic part of Brunswick. All the homes we toured were at least 100 years old and absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed it and learned more about the history of this area. Ralph has stayed busy at the dock office with transients and marina regulars.
On Christmas Eve all the boaters from our dock got together for a party with plenty of food and drinks. We really enjoyed it and the weather cooperated. On Christmas day Ralph had to work, but we went to the marina Christmas party afterwards. Everyone in the nice sized crowd enjoyed the wonderful food and camaraderie
On the 27th our friend Kris returned so my cat-sitting duties have ended. It was fun having a cat again (temporarily).
Tonight we had a potluck dinner at the clubhouse with wine, beer, and champagne provided by the marina. We had a great time and look forward to more next year!
