Coming into Nassau’s Yacht Haven to make the airport connection, we noticed a number of Cats anchored off the EAST end of the harbor near Fort Montague. We spent a hurried day reprovisoning until Marsh Harbour, doing all the linens/laundry, meeting up with Georgetown friends from EYRA (another 38 ’03 Lagoon), and meeting new folks to compare notes. Both were anchored at the EAST end in shallow sand with a public beach and dock available. Why not?

A delightful find! Clean, accessible, and a good fish market right next to the Beach, with the Market only 5 minutes’ walk. And the Bonus: we stopped in the Nassau Yacht Club next to Ft. Montague, and they will accept Reciprocal Privileges for other Yacht Clubs! Lovely dining, bar and pool. So, next year, we’ll be ready
