i was certain that for the first time in my life i'd not see snow in winter. it didn't really bother me - much. after all, i had sunshine and warmth on a daily basis. people were jealous of me (yippee).

my mom changed all that. they have a way of knowing what's good for you. mine decided to quietly pass on in the month of january. i know in my heart that she did so just so i wouldn't miss playing in the snow. thanks mom.

michael stayed on the boat in carriacou, grenada - to work on projects he had formulated in his head.

while i'm back here in wisconsin, i was invited to lunch with some of the people i used to work with. a good time was had by all. it was easy to work with this group. they all are very efficient people and know how to get something quickly done to help others. BUT, they also have crazy senses of humor. fun and jokes were always part of keeping the sanity at work. i love these friends.
