O.K. who unplugged the fan? Also just realized my rambling got posted b y mistake! So close and then the wind dies! GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!! Only 230 miles to go! So, fired up the back up sail, powered by Yanmar, and I am on a heading for Diamond Head. Figured we've have enough fuel to burn for a short while and maybe put us in a better position to catch some winds up ahead, plus everything could use a good charge anyway. Flew the asymetrical spinnaker earlier today, but the winds were from 0 to 5 and 4 directions at once, poor thing was beating itself to death, so down it came. But the main finally came all the way out of it's in mast furler and the genny is sheeted in and the motion is steady. Every once in awhile I get a 10 to 15knot blast and it's run, coast, run, coast. Grib files and the Hawaiian forecast are not very encouraging and they are a tad vauge so maybe this evening winds will fill in. Man! George and I are like two old tired horses that smell the barn and a buck et of oats!!! Got a pot of lentils with onion, garlic and green beans on the stove, so we'll oink out and watch the sunset and pray for wind! sorry for that weird post that went out. Lynn
