Just a short post on the biggest fish I'm ever likely to catch! This 1.3 metre Mackerel (fisheries note that the size limit is >95cm) was brought in on my boat rod and small Pen reel after a long and arduous fight. The scales again proved inadequate, we estimated around 15kilos.

Rudy provided tactical advice as the fight proceeded (not too fast, give him more line, etc..) and, at great personal risk, gaffed the beast as I got him alongside!
