Mama Goose waiting...just waiting

24 June 2012 | Iqaluit
Well we have been waiting now for a flight tasking for a week now. I am filling me time with books mostly, 4 done now on the search for something new to read. Took a little walk yesterday to a nearby park called Sylvia Grinnell. Someone mentioned a waterfall and I had to go and see it. started with a short path to a bouldery surface with many hulks of melting ice. What a landscape. Following a few ankle rolls I enjoyed a few moments of bliss sitting beside the water falls. I love moving water in all its may forms and I have just found out that I love water in its frozen form too. Who knew there was so much variety to ice. I am now told it is so much more than frozen water. There are so many stories held within it.

Here's hoping I find another interesting book...or not then my knit sweater will also get some attention.

The beginning...
