Just back from having Phillbrooks turn the last few nuts and bolts before final provisioning and shoving off. It is SO true that your final "to do" list is never really completed. It's more like a "work in progress" list. Rebecca and I are both quite anxious about shoving off and facing the "dreaded" Washington / Oregon coast. It's like waiting for a root canal appointment. At some point you just want to get it over with and stop worrying about it. I hope that like my root canal, after it's over you think "that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be". After our last two Summers sailing around Vancouver Island and this years trip through Haida Gwaii, we feel confident of our abilities. The ability of Callisti has never been in doubt as she has already made this voyage with a previous lover. In addition, we are both happy that my sailing buddy Rob will be joining us in Port Angeles for the trip to San Frasisco. I hope he has a wonderful sailing experience. Thanks Rob!
