Waaaay Cool!

Cloudy, cool
The blog is back from vacation, and we have some catching up to do.
Yesterday we went out to pick Ryan up at Dulles and went to the new Air and Space Museum out there. Spectacular!
A few days before I had been to Air and Space in town. After a lifetime of anticipation, I was a little disappointed. Slightly tired exhibits. But this new facility! If you have any interest in aviation, this is an absolute must see. A Blackbird, a Space Shuttle, the Enola Gay, a Concorde, the real thing, full size.
Dozens and dozens of other craft. All the military planes, plus civilian craft of all stripes. For family sentimentality, there is a Bonanza plus several Hiller helicopters, produced by the Chadwick's grandfather in Palo Alto. And a Schweizer 2-22 and several record setting gliders.
