Vero Beach Municipal Marina certainly has the transient cruiser thing dialed in. Inexpensive moorings, laundry, showers, dinghy dock with drive up access, free bus around town, nearby shopping. It's moniker, "Velcro Beach" is obvious. We kept the car an extra day and have been shuttling back and forth with huge quantities of provisions. Poor Calypso has been sucking it all into her wonderful storage spaces without complaint but we dare not look at how far down our waterline is!
