Dawn at Ft. Pierce. The weather gods are smiling on Calypso. Looks like we might have a weather window to get across the Stream at the end of the week. In the Bahamas by November....But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Had a lovely motor sail down the last of the interminable Indian River, across into the mangroves of the St. Lucie Canal and more sailing through elegant Hobe Sound. What a treat to see the first of the gorgeous turquoise water.
Then the "fun" began. Dashing and stopping to make the timetable of the five restricted bridges, boats, boats, boats, finally popping out into Lake Worth. Sailed the rest of the way to the anchorage off the Palm Beach Sailing Club.
