No bundling up and schlepping off to see the festivities. The fireworks blasted away just a couple hundred yards from our mooring. And, thanks to our earlier naps, we went ashore with a bottle of champagne afterward to rendezvous with Alex who was partying hearty.
For some unknown reason, the Junkanoo parade failed to materialize. We were disappointed but actually got to sleep by 1:30!
