The beach on the ocean side of Stocking Island has to be a candidate for the most beautiful beach in the Bahamas. After our chores were done, Meg and I did the short walk across from Sand Dollar Beach to the ocean side. This beach is realllly long and is accented with great flat slabs of rock and outcrops of limestone. We are far enough south now in Exuma Sound that the Atlantic swell comes crashing ashore. The most amazing piece is that just over the hill are two hundred boats as Meg and I stroll alone on this beach. Let's just say the volleyball over there is serious. I'll post a photo when I go back with my camera.
