Life in the Big City
09 February 2011 | Elizabeth Harbor, Georgetown
As the twilight wanes, the anchor lights come winking on, one by one, hundreds now. Can’t really get a photo of that, it’s the wide angle thing our eyes do.
City life is entertaining as one gets to know neighbors. Newly arrived White Seal came for sundowners last night, and as much as I am in awe of their year from VT aboard a Cal 36 with just the basics (no refrigeration!), they enjoyed being aboard Calypso. Cheek by jowl, another family on a Krogan 48 trawler are recent liveaboards and triathletes. Sister Anne comes tomorrow!
Meg update: She is eating and drinking normally and her energy is returning slowly. We’ll go back to the vet tomorrow to take out the catheter.
