More racing action!

We earned our Dark and Stormy today. A couple hours hard on the wind in 4-6 foot seas on the east side of Stocking Island. Our reward for the last 45 minutes was sliding downwind to the finish like we're out for a Sunday drive. Neck and neck with the big St. Francis 50 cat and edging out the sleek Tartan 4600.

We did manage to bake a pan of brownies for the Baking Underway competition but were aced out of the Fishing Derby. Stay tuned for the official results.

Crew today were stalwarts Dave and Shara (grinding the winches and chief helmsperson) and new recruits Moira and Ernie who sailed us spot on to the windward mark. Many thanks to all!
