So long, fairwinds

Yikes, this means Calypso's bow is pointed north! Goodbye Georgetown and the boats we have met here. Heading home. The fleet disperses to points north and south. In the sailing blogs, clearly one of the most difficult aspects of the cruising is meeting nice people who would become your friends if living in the same town, and then having to say goodbye as the sailing plans diverge.
On the way south, a majority of the boats are converging on Georgetown. Even if you part for weeks, you can plan to see them again in Georgetown. Now it will be serendipity to see them again. A small consolation is the ease of keeping up with blogs, email and skype.
Meggie will miss "her" beach and her canine buddies. Yes, we’re all feeling a little blue about this….
