Moonlight stroll
16 March 2011 | Lee Stocking Island
The almost full moon is like daylight here as Meg and Wayne and I take our pre-bed walk on the beach. Last night we anchored off Perry Peak. There is a well marked trail to the top accompanied by the cool evening breeze. Grand view all the way back to Georgetown with twinkling lights in the distance. The moon obscures the otherwise blizzard of stars so we can focus on learning the spring time constellations. Arcturus and Spica have risen. Summer cannot be far away!
