Off we go!
08 November 2011 | St. Thomas, USVI
The port prop is being erratic but we manage to get it in gear and providing full thrust. The starboard engine quits about 45 minutes out. We reprime and it runs for an hour and a half and quits. We try again but now no go. Definitely fuel starvation. Hmmm.
Fortunately we have already altered course towards the big marinas at Fajardo, PR. On the cell phone, John locates a mechanic through their friends in St. Thomas and yes he agree to come first thing in the morning. We tie dockside for the night with blessed air conditioning humming. It is hot and steamy here with little breeze.
Grilled pork tenderloin for dinner. Cyndi is a great cook, keeping the Captain and the swabee well fed!
