Short tacking through Rockland Harbor
13 July 2012
All dozen schooners working the windjammer tourist trade sailed into Rockland today and we were front row center. After watching from the edge of the mooring field, we sailed slowly in their direction. So many photo ops, so few cameras! Perhaps only the helicopter making low passes had a better angle.
Cousin Wayne is here for a couple days. We capped the sight of the schooners with a rompin’ broad reach over to the Fox Islands Thorofare and Perry Creek. Mahhhhhvelous.
