Last year we were at the docks in Rockland as the preparations were underway for the annual Blues Festival. This year we made sure we were there for the party! And what a scene it was. I got up at 6am to grab a prime spot for our chairs under the only shady tree. We were surrounded by folks who had been coming for years. What a spot for two days of music: view of the bay, gentle sea breeze, great music. And we could wander back to the boat to take a nap when the fun got too much! The only downside? We got wafted by the aroma of the trucks cooking all that oh-so-yummy but oh-so-bad for you food.
