La giornata è cominciata come è finita quella ieri, sotto la pioggia e senza vento,ma per ognuno di noi l'inizio è stato con una bella doccia calda, che ha lavato via il sale e parte della stanchezza.

La sfida, in questi giorni, è capire che rotta seguire, poiché sulla zona di Cabo Frio e Rio de Janeiro è posizionata una forte depressione, con venti sostenuti e onda formata ( 5,5 MT)
La previsione dice che venerdì potremmo avere 30-40 nodi di vento con raffiche oltre 50.
Il servizio safety della Cape2Rio ha raccomandato a tutte le barche partecipanti di tenersi a nord di 20° S.
Il nostro skipper Andrea ha il difficile compito di capire come sia meglio e più sicuro avvicinarsi a Rio e come iniziare a preparare la barca per l'arrivo della perturbazione. Sicuramente metteremo in coperta lo storm jib, pronto per essere dato,così come verificheremo che la randa sia pronta per essere ammainata velocemente.

In these days the challenge is to find the right course to follow,as on Cabo Rio and Rio de Janeiro, is positioned an intense frontal system, with,on friday, sustained winds (34-40 knots) and swell around 5.5 meters with gusts greater than 50 knots.
The safety team of the race Cape2Rio reccomends to all the boats, to remain north of 20°S.
Our skipper Andrea has the hard work to understand which is the best and safest way to reach Rio and how to start preparing the boat for this low. For sure we'll keep the storm jib ready to be hoisted, the mainsail cheked to be ready for a fast drop off.
