Six months ago, Heather and I were talking about plans for my next trip out to see her. I mentioned that I wanted to see Anegada and she said "let's go"! Lobster Fest in Anegada is the weekend of Thanksgiving. A perfect time to go. That planted the seed and I began plans to charter a boat in the British Virgin Islands. I chartered a boat through the Moorings Charter Company. This is the same company that John and I chartered a 36' monohull for a family vacation in 1999. Heather was 11 and Holly was 9. It was an amazing experience and left an lasting impression. So much so, that it shaped the life that Heather enjoys today. It has been almost 25 years since our first sail in the BVI. Holly unfortunately came down with the flu just days before our charter and was unable to join us. We missed her! Heather and I looked forward to sharing our love of the islands with others as we make more memories!
