It's a treat to arrive in the most exotic port of the world and find so many amenities on such a precious island.

A round the island bicycle ride revealed the stark contrast between the isolated honeymoon resorts and the impoverished north side of paradise - but if you are just scraping by this is the island to do it on - and with plenty of resort jobs and a formidable tourist trade is a well established destination.

We spend 2 nights on free mooring balls in front of legendary Blood Mary's and one night at the new and cruiser friendly Bora Bora Yacht Club.

We even got a burgy and they take AX ;-)
