Caris Arrived at Mayaguana Island

Approaching Mayaguana Island
Good Evening,
Caris arrived this afternoon at Abrahams Bay on Mayaguana Island in the Bahamas. This is a beautiful and desolate out-island of the Bahamas and has a large turquoise bay surrounded by a reef. The wind is blowing about 25kts but the boat is riding calmly. This is the location of an abandoned missle tracking station. We are glad to have a quiet night here after the last three nights at sea.
Our Buddy Boat, Blue Pearl, is here with us tonight but we will be parting ways tomorrow. They have a problem with their autopilot and will head instead to Fort Lauderdale, about 3 days away, while we head North to GeorgeTown in the Bahamas.
Caris is sailing fast and fine in these strong trade winds. We are eating well and enjoying our time together. We have been seeing some wonderful sunrises and sunsets.
