Antelope Island on Great Salt Lake

Today we spent the day touring Antelope Island on Great Salt Lake. Neither of us had seen the lake before. Not surprising especially since it is not on the beaten track. Locals deem the lake as dirty and smelly, not like Israelis who swim in the Dead Sea. Living on the lake is not stylish. The lake this year is at a historic low in terms of water. The marina docks on the island are in sand. Note: 1987 was the year of the historic high lake level.
The park is home to a herd of bison. Yesterday was the yearly Roundup and tomorrow some will be sold. Also we saw the ranch there started in the 1860's that operated for 133 years.
