FCC license granted

Well, on the 13th of May I was finally granted the call sign WDE 8791 so if anyone wants to call on the VHF that's the numbers. It ain't a big deal to most but the last license I had was several decades ago when the FCC actually took the CB Radio thing a lot more seriously. In those days you had to use the CB like most people use the VHF now. What a change a few years make! Anyway, that's that.
On to number 2: I've been getting e-mails from a few people who have been following the Sandy Beach Dive Charter blog, and asking what happened... well... life happens (or doesn't happen whichever way you want to look at it.) I'll still do the charter thing but instead of advertising and making it appear I'm competing with all those BIG NAME charter companies (which I don't want to do anyway), I'll be keeping things on the 'down-low' and taking donations for your travel vacation experience. Instead of a structured itinerary the few people who travel with me will make their own. No time schedule, no preset destination, not many rules and that way everyone will be relaxed and rested. If you want to stay at one spot for 3 days, we stay... simple as that. More later on that subject.
On to number 3:
My offer on the sailboat back east was declined. (Not surprised). There is a supposedly beautiful Mac65 coming to Fort Launderdale the first week of June and if things go right, well... I don't want to Jinx things so I'll leave it at that.
On to number 4:
Trans update... still waiting for some parts for the valve body and they should be here and that project concluded by tomorrow - Wednesday if things work properly... not getting my hopes up yet because it's been 3 weeks so far and I'm really not expecting anything less than "screwed up"... I shouldn't be disappointed.
Well, vacation time is coming... summer is hitting the North America continent and people should be getting ready for bar-b-q and swimming... etc. I'm getting ready to retire to that boat... so,
I'll keep plugging away at it.
