The Fjords of Greenland

We took an excursion and anchored overnight in one of the fjords near Nuuk.

We had a still night and this spectacular windless morning. We had the inlet entirely to ourselves...on the way in, we could see hundreds of ice bergs in the distance.

Ralf put hooks in the water and had three fish for dinner in about five minutes. We flew the drone and got some spectacular video. At dinner time, the wind changed and we had to reanchor at the other side of the fjord for protection.

We've been running the watermaker to catch up for not being able to get fresh water at the dock. The watermaker itself is pretty noisy in the cabin and we have to run the generator in order to run the watermaker. It sounds so nice when we stop! Then the little waterfall ashore sounds loud.

This morning, a bit of a dnighy ride, perhaps a little hike ashore, another drone flight, some more pictuers...too many possibilities.!
