0800 Local / 1400 GMT After weathering a few challenging squalls we slowly made our way into the harbor at Puerto Villamil, Isla Isabela in the Galapagos. Anchor down, harbor calm, we heard and then saw a wall of beautiful blue-footed bobbies, then a couple of pelicans having sex, frolicking sea lions all around including one juvenile who took a breather resting his flipper on our hydrovane rudder and another munching on some seaweed growing on the rudder. And then out pops a bright double rainbow. Oh and on the way, before the squalls, we saw a sea creature measuring at least five feet in width jumping out of the water that appeared to be the largest ray I have ever seen. Breathtaking. Magical
