There's a Small Craft Advisory out at the Gate today, so it seemed like a good time to check in at the boat and see if I can run my weather routing software over the radio. Success! The package I subscribe to can be downloaded via SSB Radio and displayed on my computer. From there, I can transfer the way points to the GPS unit for easy navigation. So it's good to know that while we're at sea, we can download new weather routing and not only avoid the rough weather but also avoid light air and make the most of our sails.

So according to the weather package, if we left right now we'd make it to Hawaii at noon on June 24... what am I waiting for!
