Journey from Annapolis Maryland

Ev and I arrived in Port Kerwin on the SOuthern Shore of Newfoundland to meet our First Mates for a sail to St. John's. It was a rocking horse rolly trip in the fog and cold. The Range Lights at the Narrows to St. John's was a welcomed sight. Libations and food were the order of the evening when we got tied up at the Small Boat Basin at Prossers Rock!! We will stay here for 3 or 4 days then head for Holyrood for 2 weeks and then to St. Johne Within for the balance of the summer.

Joan; poor weather wet and cold
Thursday, March 24, 2011
Location: Deltaville, Virginia
We arrived in Deltaville on Saturday past, delighted to be aboard again.
We did a 3 hour maintenance course at the marina; interesting. I began to fade when they talked about bow-thrusters until I saw John’s expression of interest and groaned. He assured me later he had no interest. Yeah!
We have been hard at it, cleaning, installing and managing to leave Changing Lanes, late afternoon to do some frolicking in the region.
Our intent is to leave tomorrow around 8:00 am to arrive in Norfolk early evening.
Weather is poor. A cold front moved in overnight and lighting was powerful. This system will continue with rain today , cool temperatures but sunshine begins tomorrow morning. This is still spring here and I hear that summer is right round the corner. We have had mainly sunshine and seasonal temperatures in the 60s .
With some 70s for good will.
