Excellent Day of Sailing!!

The wind picked up as the night progressed and we had a bumpy night. The breeze was stiff and we used our Breeze wind scoops. We had to change the position before we went to sleep as the wind shifted directions. I was cold and should have looked for some blankets. Up around 7 and picked up our hook and were able to sail all day. Breakfast on route. Lots of boats on the water, mostly going the other direction. Chris and I decided to bake brownies from scratch. We first had to search for the ingredients, then heat up the oven. We even made them gluten free. I have to say that it was the very best brownies with coffee for our afternoon break. The first anchorage we chose was Hawksbill Cay. Unfortunately we could not get close to the beach area for protection and the winds are stiff again from the West up to 15 knots. We are motor sailing to the next anchorage at Crab Cay. Still very windy Chris and Helen played card games. Did some reading. Mark confirmed we had a great sail. We had good speed 6+ knots the whole way. P.S. from yesterday. The boat that we rescued gave us at least 3 pounds of lobster tails. Robert & Mark barbqued them. Everyone enjoyed them and we even have some leftovers for dinner today. Margaritas were superb.
