Closed for Easter

Took Charabia across the harbour and anchored just out side of Kidd Cove for a quick (and hopefully dry) dingy ride into lake Victoria and Exuma Market. But what we did not expect was for most everything to be closed due to the Easter holiday. We walked around town and found WIFI at the Peace & Plenty hotel which Chris & Helen used while Robert and I made a couple of runs filling our water tank. At the Exuma Market dingy dock there is free RO water which we filled our two 5 gallon water jugs and hauled them back to Charabia where we emptied them and did the process over again before meeting the ladies for lunch at Peace & Plenty which was good if slow. Everyone got fairly wet getting back to the boat and we did one more water run before hauling anchor and moving back across the harbour to Volleyball beach. Went ashore and walked the beach before touring the various hurricane holes and taking a quick hike over to the ocean side of Stocking Island just to look around. It was a little sad to see Volleyball beach going commercial and the huge pile of trash the restaurant/bar has accumulated, it certainly has lost some of it's charm to me.
