Luchianos & Atlantis

Robert was up early and headed to Starbucks before the rest of us were awake. We got up and had breakfast. Then Chris and I went to get our final groceries as we will be leaving Nassau in the morning. Mark tightened both engine v-belts. He also added more shims to the two escape hatches as they have been leaking some. We all headed to Luchianos for lunch, taking a cab to get there. It was not far from the marina and right on the water facing a marina full of mega yachts. We had a lovely lunch, food was very good, as was the ambiance. We walked over to the first bridge that heads to Paradise Island and walked the whole way to Atlantis. It was a hot walk even with a breeze. I got to spend a little time in the casino, playing the roulette wheel. I got my money back and more and then cashed out. Walked thru all the shops before taking a cab back to the marina. Chris and I checked out a few more of the shops across the street and ended up at Starbucks. However, I could not get my phone to connect. Came back to the boat and everyone had a rest as we were exhausted. Mark and I had the pool to ourselves, it was a wonderful way to cool off. Had dinner onboard and are waiting for the movie or games to begin. Mark bought a white board in order to use his projector to watch The Guardian last night. The picture was great and the projector worked well on the salon wall. We will be sailing 35 or so miles to one of the Cays in the Berry Island chain and then on to Bimini, weather permitting. It's been East or South East winds 10-15, so it should be another spinnaker run.
