Costa Rica, carrying the dinghy up the beach. We found the glue for rubber materials in Home Depot. The wifi was horrible today. We walked up a few times and tried using it but it kept dropping the connection. I cooked up the chicken and beef that we bought on our shopping trip this past week. I made up individual meals to freeze for when we are back at sea. After lunch, Mark had a nap. I caught up on things, including my daily log. Then after 2 pm we joined the lady captain, Sherry, for a test sail on the 36 foot Benneteau sailboat, which she will be delivering shortly. There were six of us on board. It was nice to be out on the ocean and sailing too, as the motor died at one point and wouldn't restart. It turned out to be a switch on the ground that was turned off as the cause. By that time we had the main and jib hoisted. There were some sizable ocean swells, but I thought it was relatively small waves. We were back at the dock by 4:30. Then a group of 18 cruisers got together to share 3 kilos of roasted pork plus some sides, including tortilla shells. Very tasty. We had a wonderful time visiting with some of the cruisers that we had not yet met. We are finally feeling some cooler air as today was quite hot. I was missing our bimini when we went sailing...we will post this blog when we head up to shower, shortly.Had a long sleep so we were up early. After breakfast we worked on flushing the water maker. Then Mark worked on the dinghy, gluing and re-attaching one of the hand holds. This was ripped off in Brasilito,
